Undoing the Ego

In your life, have you ever wondered what is truth? I mean the real Truth. Does it seem like every time we think we have found the truth, it changes as soon as we find it? More than 99% of us do not want to know or do not know the real Truth right now. At times, I do not know if I am ready for it.
What is the Truth, you may ask? Would it be startling to learn that the world we live in never existed? On top of that, what if I say that:
- We are still with our Source (God). We mistakenly believe we have separated from our Source. The world of our Source is all around us but it is out of our present awareness.
- We are living in an illusion that we made up in our minds!
- This world we think we see is symbolic of our mistaken belief that we separated from our Source and the subsequent unconscious guilt and projection of blame as a result of it. We made up this world for a reason (to hide our unconscious guilt).
- Each person is individually and collectively responsible for the world they think they see around them.
- We project out what we choose (or want) to see in ourselves and in others in order to make us or another the guilty party for the problems we think we have in the world and our unconscious mind.
- We have never sinned, we just thought we did.
- We are not a victim of the world we see.
- Forgiveness is the way out of this dream world we made up.
Heretical, isn’t it? Somewhere within you, you know that this is the Truth. What if I told you there are several book out there that speaks about the real Truth and helps us rediscover it. One of the few books on the subject of the rediscovery of the real Truth is Take Me to Truth by Nouk Sanchez and Tomas Viera. Take Me to Truth discuss at length the startling revelations mentioned above and reveals many more. This book may assist us in solving most of our quests for it. What we read may not satisfy most of us initially. We may be upset with what we read. We may resist it. If we experience this Truth, we will find that this is the real Truth we have been seeking most of our lives.
Now you may ask, "how do Sanchez and Viera expect the reader to go about recovering this great lost Truth?" Don’t despair. They do not leave the reader astray. Sanchez and Viera provide us with many powerful tools to accomplish this. They stress that Truth is recovered by practicing and experiencing the knowledge that one has read.
Some of the powerful tools enlisted by Sanchez and Viera to help us rediscover the Truth include:
- PIQ (Presence, Inquiry, and Quantum Forgiveness)
- Contemplation
- Taking responsibility for the illusory world and projections we made up to perpetuate the unconscious guilt in the mind.
- Forgiving any and all discomforts, worries, and other forms of fear that appears to us (whether it is from you or others). Briefly, forgiveness is defined here as overlooking ego error (any hate, fear, judgment or condemnation you cast onto someone, someone casts onto you, or you cast upon yourself) and by doing so, you are forgiving and healing your own unconscious guilt (the perceived belief that you separated from God and the subsequent blame for it projected out).
- Utilizing the psychological personality measurement tool called the Enneagram to help people recognize their own behaviors and personality so they can stop blaming themselves (and others) and start forgiving.
- The Works created by Byron Katie, the author of Loving What Is. The Works helps people witness some of their hidden (unconscious) ego thoughts and beliefs. It helps us uncover those deep dark secrets (hates) that we keep hidden in our unconscious mind. Once it has been identified, one can start the healing process by forgiving the thoughts and beliefs.
- Working with your United Self (your higher self) and the Source (God, the Creator) in helping you overlooking error and return to Truth.
- I might add that numerology and astrology could be helpful tools if used properly.
If used as intended by Sanchez and Viera, these tools will help us uncover, acknowledge, heal, and forgive the guilt, pain, discomfort, fear, and conflict we may have about ourselves (or other people), our personality (in other words, why we do the things we do), and our behavior. In this way, these wonderful tools are really prodders to help us surface those previously mentioned deep dark secrets and bring us to Truth.
Conversely, our path to uncovering the Truth will be hindered if these same tools are used to distract, blame, and perpetuate our false beliefs about ourselves. It is best not to use them as our identity marker or an excuse to maintain or justify our own personality and behavior. We are setting a trap for ourselves if these tools are used for those purposes, which may push us away from rediscovering the Truth.
Do you believe it? Is this the Truth? Could it be this simple? Does it work? Find out by reading this book, practicing what you learn from the book, and experiencing it. Just ask Sanchez and Viera. They were married to each other and divorced. They were able to use the material in the book to heal their fragmented relationship. If it worked for them, then it can work for you.
Sanchez’s and Viera’s Take Me to Truth is highly recommended for those people who seek a clearer understanding of A Course in Miracles, a higher level of spirituality, or are in the business of spiritual seeking. Their translation of A Course in Miracles and pure non-dualism falls in line with the likes of authors Gary Renard and Ken Wapnick. This book is deeply psychological, scientific, and logical. It is especially great for those who are left-brained, who think more logically than creatively. Speaking of creativity, the authors are clever in their use of terminology by redefining terminology most familiar in the new age/spiritual/metaphysical community. Also, Take Me to Truth contrasts the things you think you see, experience, and believe in this world with the Truth.
